The company is officially registered as Fur Dressers & Dyers (Westland) Ltd however its owners, Carol and Peter Gray, are known throughout New Zealand and internationally as the Possum People.

Possum People manufacture a range of products utilising New Zealand possum fur and Merino Wool and have grown continuously for over 40 years to become one of the country's largest furriers/specialist possum fur manufacturers.
